  • Doctoral Candidate in Civil Society and Community Research, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Human Ecology

Previous Professional Experience

Prior to joining UW-Extension in August 2015, Paula was the Assistant Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies where she managed and implemented research and practice initiatives to enhance community well-being and promote social change.  Other additional roles she has held include the Transform WI Health Equity Coordinator, Founding Coordinator of Thrive WI (statewide health equity alliance), and Founding Chair of the Wisconsin Public Health Association Health Impact Assessment Section.  She also completed the Population Health Service Fellowship focusing on health equity, systems change, and deep community engagement through the UW Population Health Institute
